Those who favor that the Internet has many advantages give their reasons as follows. In the first place, the Internet brings us great convenience and efficiency. For example, we can send E-mails to our friends in other countries in a few minutes while sending a traditional letter takes us at least a week and cost much. In the second place, we can make friends with people from all parts of the world. It overcomes the geographical barriers and makes the world smaller. Furthermore, the Internet accelerates the flow of information and spreads education to all corners of the globe. We can have easy and quick access to the latest information worldwide.
However, the other side of the coin voices its strong opposition, saying that the Internet has many weaknesses. For one thing, it can easily lead to psychological problems. An internet-addicted person tends to be isolated, self-centered and unsociable. For another, there is a sharp rise in the number of cyber crimes. More and more financial crimes such as money laundering are committed via the Internet. In addition, it also has negative impacts on young people be cause there are a lot of obscene and violent contents on line.
There is probably a litter bit of truth in both arguments. For my part, I completely agree with the latter view that the Internet has more disadvantages than advantages. It gives rise to people’s mental problems. It results in various computer crimes. What is more, it is harmful to the growth of the young. Something should be done as soon as possible to protect people from the negative effects of the Internet.

As the Internet is wonderful, many people are addicted to it. Some indulge in playing computer games and neglect study or job. Besides, because people can touch different kind of information online, they are easily learn some bad messages, which is bad for their growing. To sum up, everything has two sides. Internet also has advantages and disadvantages. Inernet has been an important part in our life.With the help of Inernet we can develop the effective of our study or job. For example , we can learn more knowledge about the world from the Inernet.And as the youngs in 21st centery,the skill of using the Internet has been the most necessary point for us.But there are risks in it.A lot of youngners lost themselves in the data world and can not catch up with others in study.They'd like to be the best in the games instead of in hard-working.In my own point,I think Internet has more advantages than disadvantages. People should make the most use of it so that it can been useful not harmful.

The news said they have many victim from chatting with unknown people by the victim were believed implicitly. In conclusion, many people still use Internet because it is useful and comfortable.
